If there’s ever been a restaurant that feels like an extension of our home, it’s Table 5.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Northville, Table 5 has always been our place where we reconnect, celebrate, decompress, and savor. It’s a constant in our ever-changing schedule, earning a well-deserved spot in our weekly rotation whenever we’re home. And when we say we eat there weekly, we mean it. Our friends, family, and even our staff know where we are every Saturday night. It’s such a ritual that it takes a very good reason for us to miss it.

What keeps us coming back, week after week? The answer is simple: consistency. Not just in the food, though that’s always on point, but in the warmth of the service, the way the staff greets you like family, and the genuine care that goes into every detail. This place isn’t just a neighborhood restaurant, it’s a community hub, the kind of rare gem where you leave with more than just a great meal. You leave with
connections.

One of the things we love most is the ever-
evolving weekly specials, a new appetizer, soup, and entrée every time we walk in the door. There have been weeks where we didn’t order a single thing from the regular menu simply because the specials were that good. It’s like a surprise party for your palate every single time.
And just in time for the season, the new summer menu has arrived. We’re pacing ourselves, but two early standouts already have us hooked: the Tomato Carpaccio, impossibly fresh and bursting with summer flavor, and the Spicy Shrimp, which brings the perfect balance of heat and brightness. If these are any indication of what’s ahead, we’re in for an unforgettable summer.
For dessert, the legendary butter cake is the restaurant’s undisputed cult classic (and rightfully so), but this season, new contenders have entered the ring. Carmine’s pick: the blueberry brioche bread pudding rich, warm, and perfectly balanced. For Kira, it’s the Eton Mess. The crisp meringue and fresh berries instantly took her back to her grandmother’s kitchen simple, familiar, and exactly right.
