Trèsind (or, as we lovingly call it, Trèsind OG) is firmly planted on our Dubai repeat list. On this trip to Dubai, we had the joy of dining at both Tresind Studio (now holding three Michelin stars) and returning to Trèsind and we can confidently say there is more than enough space and love in our hearts for both.
Trèsind also lands squarely on our ongoing list of how on earth does this restaurant not have a star. The Michelin recommendation is lovely, but it simply falls short of capturing the depth, consistency, and sheer brilliance of what happens here night after night.
Once again, we chose to go all in. Trèsind offers two tasting menus: the Signature Menu and the more expansive Degustation Menu. Naturally, we opted for the Degustation, and we would do it again without hesitation. The team here is absolutely wonderful. We asked a lot of questions (as we tend to do), and with every course we learned more and more about Indian ingredients, techniques, and regional influences. This is dining as education, storytelling, and hospitality all woven into one.
At its core, Trèsind is about honoring Indian cuisine while allowing it to evolve. Rather than leaning on tradition alone, the kitchen reinterprets classic flavors and techniques through a contemporary lens refined, thoughtful, and deeply expressive. Since opening in 2014, Trèsind has steadily built its reputation as one of Dubai’s most celebrated dining destinations, earning recognition from Michelin, Gault & Millau, and MENA’s 50 Best.
The moment you walk in, the aromas wrap around you warm, layered, comforting. The kind of scent that feels like a grandmother’s hug, grounding and familiar, yet still exciting. And yes, our obsession with pani puri continues. So much so that we ordered a second round. No regrets.

We were also fortunate enough to meet Chef Himanshu Saini. Over the years, dining at Trèsind and Tresind Studio has played a meaningful role in developing our understanding of Indian cuisine expanding our palates, deepening our appreciation for regional ingredients, and helping us taste beyond what we once thought we knew. That brief exchange reinforced what we’ve felt at the table time and again: his work doesn’t just feed you; it educates you, leaving you more curious, more confident, and more connected to the cuisine with every visit.
While we truly don’t want to compare the two restaurants, what stood out most at Trèsind “OG” beyond what may very well be the most mouthwatering Indian food you’ll ever eat was the level of guest interaction. The team doesn’t just serve you; they invite you into the experience. We left with an actual grocery list of ingredients we’re now hunting down at our local Indian grocer: tomato rasam, wild mushroom chai, and more. And the moment we’re back in our home kitchen, we’ll be experimenting with making lavasa bread, wish us luck.
Both Trèsind Studio and Trèsind OG are extraordinary in their own ways. But for a restaurant we return to again and again, for comfort layered with creativity, for flavors that linger long after the last bite Trèsind OG will always be on repeat.

Dubai is a true melting pot of cultures, where global flavors converge and culinary innovation thrives. In a city defined by diversity and ambition, some restaurants do more than stand out, they shift your entire perception of a cuisine. Trèsind was that place for us. Though we technically did not dine at Trèsind Studio, their newly crowned three-Michelin-star sibling the experience at Trèsind was nothing short of that caliber. In fact, it was the best Indian food of our lives.
From the moment we walked in, the tone was set. The space was sleek, elegant, and inviting a fitting backdrop for what would be an unforgettable modernist Indian tasting journey. Trèsind offers two tasting options: the Signature Menu and the more elaborate Degustation Menu. Naturally, we went all in with the Degustation and we’re so glad we did.
Each course was a masterclass in creativity and technique, yet deeply rooted in tradition. Think childhood street food memories reimagined with molecular precision, rich curries lightened and layered with textural contrast, and spices used not just for heat but to evoke emotion. Every bite was a conversation between nostalgia and innovation.
What struck us most beyond the showmanship and artistry was how balanced the entire experience felt. Despite the avant-garde approach, there was nothing gimmicky. Flavors remained the star, and the hospitality was as thoughtful as the plating.
While the Dubai culinary scene is bursting with fine dining options, Trèsind stands apart. It doesn’t just elevate Indian cuisine it redefines it. If you’re looking to experience Indian food as you’ve never imagined, this is the place. And yes, we say this having dined at countless Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
For anyone visiting Dubai or seeking an extraordinary culinary moment, we cannot recommend Trèsind enough. Book the tasting. Choose the Degustation. And prepare to fall in love with Indian cuisine all over again.
