We loved our experience at Torno Subito in Dubai, so when the restaurant opened in Miami, it immediately caught our attention. It is not often that we have the opportunity to follow a concept internationally, but this was one we were genuinely looking forward to experiencing again, this time in one of our favorite areas of Miami- Design District.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone. It is vibrant, polished yet playful. The space leans into a retro-chic aesthetic with bold colors, thoughtful design details, and an energy that feels distinctly Italian but perfectly suited to Miami. Live electric strings filled the room during our visit, adding a layer of movement and rhythm that made the entire space feel alive. It is the kind of environment that draws you in and keeps you engaged before a single dish hits the table.

We chose to experience Torno Subito through its tasting menu, which felt like the right way to understand the kitchen’s point of view. The meal began with a zero-waste welcome bite, simple in concept, but thoughtfully executed. It immediately transported us, evoking the warmth of an Italian evening with bright, clean flavors that set the stage for what was to come.

One of the standout moments of the evening came through a personal connection. Through one of our favorite chefs in Detroit, we were introduced to Head Chef Bernardo Paladini, who stopped by our table to say hi. He was simply delightful. It is always meaningful when a dining experience extends beyond the plate, and this was another great moment in our self-created Jabri Restaurant Week.

Service matched the energy of the room attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged without feeling overly formal. It is clear the team understands the balance Torno Subito aims to strike, and they execute it well.

Having now experienced both Dubai and Miami, what makes Torno Subito compelling is its ability to translate across locations while still feeling relevant to its setting. It is not a replication—it is an evolution.
Torno Subito Miami delivers an experience that is as much about how it makes you feel as it is about what is on the plate. And for us, it is exactly the kind of place worth returning to—no matter the city.
